A garage band setting with husband-and-wife duo, Carla Regina Zajac and James Andrew Slaven nurture their passion for innovative design to build a world-renowned brand. A multidisciplinary studio of passionate artisans and creators immersed in grit and glam create one of a kind products. Music, architecture and design history come together to curate both modern and vintage, reclaimed and natural styles.



RAD embodies a unique environment where artists have the freedom to experiment with different styles and deliver products they identify with. Their local footprint comprises of approximately 60,000-square-feet in a four-story warehouse with adjoining corporate offices and a 20,000-square-foot fabrication workshop that is the heart and soul of the Live from Detroit collection. This hub pulses with energy from local artisans and designers–glass artists, sculptors, graphic designer, illustrators, metal fabricators–collaborating on new products.
