The Ultimate Fall Decor Guide

Fall has finally arrived and I don’t know about you, but I am so happy about it! I love everything from the brisk air in the mornings, to the smells of cinnamon and pumpkin spice. BUT, the best thing about fall is probably the color scheme and decor items that can be woven into your homes. Below are my top five fall decor items you MUST have this fall.

1. A welcome mat that screams fall

It’s the small things in life (and this is one of them for me). Having a doormat that makes me smile sets my mood for the day and is a fun thing for others to see. Plus! There are SO many cute options out there this fall too! Above are a couple of my favorites I saw on Etsy.

2. Pumpkins!

Pumpkins, a classic and not just for carving. Decorate your home with real or fake ceramic pumpkins. I currently have a small one on my tv stand next to a candle! This will make your space feel tailored to the season and when you put it away to bring out the holiday decor you will have something new to look at.

3. Cozy blankets

Since temperatures start to drop during the fall months, it’s ideal to get a blanket you can snuggle up on the brisk weekend mornings with a cup of tea at or at night watching tv! Burnt orange and plaid are two of my favorite blanket colors for fall. It’ll bring the tree-line hues right into your living room or bedroom.

4. Candles, candles, candles!

Fall is the absolute best time to light a candle. There are so many yummy scents sold around this time of the year. Personally I love the smell of pine, it makes me feel like I’m sitting in a forest. Candles really transport you to another place and can make you feel extremely cozy and warm!

5. Door Wreaths

Another great way to welcome your guests and yourself into your home. There are many great DIY ideas for making your own or head to a florist or hobby shop to find a pre-made wreath.

I hope this sets the tone of the season and you’re falling in love with my favorite time of year!

Own your space.
